Almblütenkäse
A fantastic alpine treat made from 100% mountain farmer's hay milk. Pampered with tasty and juicy alpine herbs, our cows give their wonderfully valuable hay milk for this unique, mildly spicy cheese delicacy. The semi-hard cheese, which has matured for about 4 months, is coated and refined with a precious, flowery-fragrant alpine blossom mixture.

Appearance |
The colourful alpine blossom mixture on the natural bark frames the buttery-yellow, closed dough with a single broken hole particularly beautifully.

Consistency |
The smooth, smooth dough melts loosely on the tongue. The colourful dried alpine blossoms bring an exciting mouthfeel.

|
A distinct scent of meadows, flowers, herbs and hay with light creamy impressions makes this cheese something special even before it is eaten. In terms of taste, creamy notes of buttermilk and yoghurt dominate, but these are loosened up by the colourful flowers. |
Fits the.. |
Alpine blossom cheese and Pinot Gris: A Pinot Gris with sufficient melting and a delicate sweetness caresses the creamy cheese. The slight acidity brings freshness to the combination and skilfully caresses the alpine blossoms. |
